Game's Name
The idea for the name Meikyuu came from the Q in Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, the Q is supposed to represent the 'kyuu' in the word Meikyuu which in Japanese means maze or labyrinth, and can represent being lost or perplexed.
I chose the name Meikyuu because it was a lot shorter than the original name which was Labyrinth of the Android's Heart, which also just sounds kind of cheesy. I chose that name because the game is about the morality and manipulation of a group of Android characters, being the man cast of android girls and android MC, Mio.
I think Meikyuu fits better just being a single word for Labyrinth. It leaves the name up to interpretation for the player of what it could mean for example, it could fit the idea of it being a maze of finding yourself, or searching for what's the right choices to make, or the maze of the game's main dungeon, (think of it like Tartarus from P3) the Abyss, which is a deep labyrinth like chasm.
Release
Sorry again for the 10 million year development time because I'm lazy as fuck, but I am planning to have at least the first bit of the game done by Q3-4 2026, I'm currently going over the story until I feel comfortable adapting it into the game.
And guess I haven't really explained much about how it'll be released. I plan to release the game into multiple parts in a chapter like format, I call them Discs. For what I have planned now, but honestly depends on the size of each part will be around 1-8 parts.
Once I'm graduated from High School I'm going to put a lot more time into development to keep myself occupied, I'll be taking a gap year before I consider college so I'm gonna try and get Disc 1 done by then.
And as for the name of Disc 1, the name for part one is-
'Meikyuu: Disc 1 | Birth of Winter'
The first section of the game takes place during winter, so it's both the start of winter, right off the tail-end of November-ish, and it's also Birth of Winter because of the creation of Mio, the main character so you could say birth for that too.
That is all I have to share now, but I hope I stop being as lazy and I can have more to show off to you all eventually.
