Sonic, in the Game Sonic Crackers specifically, was getting sick of his surroundings, finding it to be dull and boring, usually finding himself in the same place and situation as usual and everything felt...broken.

and he felt like there was more to life, but him and tails were obsolete, trapped in a game never meant to be finished, replaced by "Better" Characters.

suffering from the boredom and feeling like Him and Tails deserved better, decided to do an experiment, running as fast as he possibly could.

tails was falling far behind, and as they ran farther and farther, tails began to scream so loud that it startled sonic, looking back, he saw tails, who was slowly pouring out blood from his body.

due to his arm being ripped off thanks to the conjoined ring him and Sonic Shared, Sonic watched his best Friend slowly die in front of His eyes.

he tried everything he could to save his buddy, but tails was already far gone.

angered by this, Sonic decided to try and find a way out of his situation. running even faster than normal.

doing this, everything became pitch black around him, due to being faster than the speed of light.

suddenly the world around him began to break, as sonic suddenly ended up in a new location.

something he wasn't familiar with, looking around, he saw a brand new world.

although, he noticed his body had changed. running so fast and breaking his reality also broke his appearance. He was quite disturbed by it but that was the least of his worries.

the air was less breathable there, not being his own, and Tails wasn't with Him. that made him really upset, he lost his best friend trying to set both of them Free.

He felt betrayed, feeling like the world was against him, trapping him in a nightmare that he couldn't escape from.

Suddenly he heard voices, and saw...Knuckles? and A Bunch of Other Characters. Suddenly it hit him. these were the Characters that replaced Him and Tails.

Sonic became Enraged and Started Hunting all of these Replacements, Killing each and Every One of them, Hoping to set Things Straight.

Unfortunately, by the end of the day, everything was back to normal. it reset, and everyone was alive. and this made Sonic really mad.

He wanted to have his revenge. but he also wanted to save Tails. and Now will stop and Nothing to find Tails and Kill anything that gets in his way.
