CRAZE, day 0

Logging on at 23:59 local time.

Mood: Tired to shit (grumpy too)

What was done today:

  • Models of the first scenery, with props, still work in progress;

  • Images of the user interface (minimalistic) + some logos;

  • Bare-bones program with bits and pieces of UI that compiles successfully;

  • An alternative to a shitty 2D API. Still need to put a font on it.

What I could have gone without:

  • Irrlicht’s sub-par 2D functionality and labyrinthic reference manual;

  • Uncomfortable chair/desk/whatever;

  • Writing very verbose, boilerplate code;

  • Constant interruptions (goodbye GameJolt chat).

Did you know that today is #InternationalJazzDay? 🎷😎

No? 😯 Well, we couldn't pass up this date!

And what better to celebrate this day than #Pecaminosa #OST? 🎷

Let us know what you think about it and have a great weekend!

art comission.

Another house i made long time ago.

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?

Sometimes the suction cup get sticky. Small animation I made in Blender after doing my tutorial on picking up/dropping objects in animations. Crate model by jQueary (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/game-ready-sci-fi-crate-d98deca6…).

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

I worked so hard to get all four of them to the end safely, but then...
