Since winter is coming up I just want to say this

If you have friends/family or anyone who you know is chronically ill and/or immunosuppressed, if you get sick and have made plans to meet them/hang out, TELL THEM. As a chronically ill person so much as a common cold can make me unable to leave my bed for what can be about a week and I'd much rather be told "I don't want to risk getting you ill so can we rearrange?" Than get ill and suffer through the consequences

This has happened to me in the past, I know it can feel mean cancelling on them because you're sick, but it's for both of your best interests. If you've made them fully aware and they still decide to meet, that is their choice, but as someone who's chronically ill who has immunosuppressed family members, we would rather KNOW and have to reschedule than NOT know and risk serious side effects and/or complications from being sick :)
