"Cube's Dark Hours 2" v1.0.4 patch changes & fixes + short apology:


  • Eclipse & Anty Banty (vent animatronics) now enter the office and behave the same way as New Cube, Amalgamate & The "Shadow"

  • Vent light buttons now work like in the first game "Cube's Dark Hours" (click on it to either turn on or off the light. Wearing the mask or flipping the camera monitor up will automatically disable it)

  • Fixed a bug where some mask animatronics randomly went invisible earlier than it should have

  • When a mask animatronic witnesses you, it should now properly prevent you from wearing the mask (Originally, the mask button would go invisible, but you could still wear the mask)

  • Slightly nerfed a few animatronics in Night 5

  • Fixed some sound effects not playing in certain events

  • Added sound effects to adjusting character AIs in the Custom Night menu

  • Easter egg now appears in two nights instead of one

  • Adjusted fonts in some menus (preferrably the Extras & Custom Night menus. Hopefully they work as intended now instead of looking all "wonky")

That's it for this patch.

I am very sorry for the buggy release & for releasing so many patches left and right. It is a repeat of the exact same problem as when "Cube's Dark Hours" was first released (probably even worse).

I never intended for the release to be this buggy. Even if this is my second game that I ever made and coded, I should have paid more attention & double-checked the code so I was sure that everything worked & functioned properly.

Thank you all genuinely for all your support. I am very grateful to have an audience of people on Game Jolt & Youtube that look forward to what I have in store.

I am sorry for disppointing & annoying all of you. There are still a few bugs that I'm unable to fix due to my limited knowledge of clickteam, but I will try my best.
