Hey folks! I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything on this page, seeing as it’s been a while since I last updated the game. However, I’m here with an exciting (but also late) announcement for the sequel to DALegacy, called DAChronicles!
DALegacy was honestly a very fun experience in game development, and with the advice and feedback from the previous game, I’ve been building up quite a bit of ideas for the upcoming sequel, ideas that will hopefully make the game a bigger and overall better experience than the original.
Now as the what the game’s approach will be, I can’t say for certain, as the game is still in the very early stages of development. As of such, it’s definitely going to be a while before I release this game. And I mean a LONG while.
For those wondering why, let me explain. First things first, while I absolutely LOVE being a game dev, I am foremost a GMod animator. And seeing as it’s been a long time since I’ve done a lot of work for my channels, I feel I really need to get my head back in the game during this summer, as there will be lots of time during that period to do so before my Fall semester.
Secondly, Joy Charged Gamerz, a channel that I do gaming videos on as well as livestreams every week. As a member of the channel, I feel it’s absolutely necessary to get more content out on that channel, because in the let’s play department, I’ve been on a huge gamers block for the past few months. I am hoping to get more things out on there, but it will definitely require a lot of thought put into that.
So yes, game development is going to be limited on my schedule for a while, especially since I’ve only just started development on the game. However, don’t think the project will die out because of this. Many games take time to make, even the smallest of games take time, especially when they’re made by one guy.
Still though, I hope this gives you all something to look forward to. And while I can’t promise this, I at least HOPE that I can make this a greater experience than what the last game offered. In any case, I hope you all have a wonderful day! Mark those calendars, because Summer’s about to start soon!
