There has been no news for 2.2 today but geometry dash is now 50% off on the steam store, so if you want the now 2 dollar cube game just go to steam and get it.

So what i think is hapening here is that robtop is making a discount for geometry dash to let more people be able to play geometry dash 2.2.
Because as Ycreatorgoal from youtube said, after 2.2 the price for geometry dash gets higher MEANING he will let people buy geometry dash now so he can earn more + to make people happy.
But if he makes a discount now it will mean that 2.2 is on the horizon officially.
