Daniel Lamano, formerly known as Detective_(Username), or just know as Daniel, is the character you play as in Roblox Piggy: Book 1 and Book 2 and serves as the primary protagonist of The Roblox Piggy Franchise. He’s comes from a moderately stable family and worked hard to work among other LPD officers. He beat of the odds of a corrupted continent and survived innocent civilians he swore protected. He will get back to protecting now that he’s found The Cure.
Personality
Daniel is a very decent and well adult. He takes his seriously and loves to work to get things done. His childhood has taken a huge toll on him as an adult. He was never bullied, but he has had a lot of problems with his family. He was never the butt of the family joke, but he was never really as popular as he’s sister and some of his cousins, and was often forgotten by everyone, going incompletely unnoticed almost multiple times through a year. Feeling important and excluded, he grew to resent his family. They’ve reconnected over the years, but their current relationship is unknown. He is very smart and knows how to solve any problem, and fix anything that gets in the way.
Appearance
Daniel is a gray skin Robloxian with dark gray hair. He is most commonly seen wearing his dark blue police out, with a verified LPD police hat, police suit and a dark gray tie, and some dark jeans. On top of that, has a a police duty belt that he uses to carry his pistol, police gloves, and other police equipment.
Abilities
Sprint - Daniel briefly runs for a few seconds.
Magnifying Glass - Daniel uses a specialized magnifying glass to analyze the area he’s in a look for keys, tools, supplies, and anything else he may need.
Scanner - A small but help tool from Kona, this tiny dev can highlight all living and moving people in a ranged areas to Daniel, great for locating and avoid infected or insolence members.
Radar - Similar to the scanner, this is another from Kona that can directly highlight someone standing close to it, however, this device is stationary, and can only really be in one area at a time. It’s mostly used now in areas that house some of the cures so infected stay out.
Flare - Found at the outpost that housed the plant Mr. P was in, these are are small flares that create red smoke, unlike flares used in guns, these have to be placed on the ground, once played they blind any infected or insolence threat.
Camouflage - Now THIS is an old trick Poley taught Daniel way back when. This trick requires no special tricks, just insane stealth. Quickly disappearing from your enemies into almost thin air, and reappearing sometime later. How this trick is done? No one really knows. However, it stated that it’s easy to learn, but hard to master!
Decoy - How about a simpler trick? LPD Officers are sometimes equipped with “cloning” techniques to catch suspects and criminals. This doesn’t actually require cloning, more so a trick of the eye, tricking people into thinking they got a cop off guard, only for it to be a fake. The best part? It works on infected and insolence members too! The clone will wander a little bit before going away, if it’s touched it’ll simple disappear, confusing whoever was near it.
Team Magnifying Glass - Similar to the magnifying glass, this highlights things in specific areas, however, this is done using a different magnifying glass, one that reveals things for others, but not for the person who used it.
Team Energy Boost - Pretty self-explanatory. Daniel boosts or helps any other survivor who is struggling or is trying to get away from infected or insolence members.
Crafty - A fun DIY trick Daniel learned during the holidays! He Quickly dents up a Christmas decorated barricade. It doesn’t do anything other than look cool, but it works great to keep infected and insolence members out of certain areas!
Wrap - Another one of Kona’s inventions, similar to the teleporter trap, this allows the user to instantly teleport between spot after placing two of them in separate spots, however, it can only be used by Survivors and not by infected or insolence members.
Invest - A little trick inspired by the iconic Pig 64 video game! Daniel decides to save up his stamina and energy to use any of his other abilities.
Immunity - Another invention from Kona, it’s a very small device that activates a BIG shield! Protecting Daniel from all infected and insolence members for 2 seconds!
Disarm - One of Kona’s greatest Inventions! This is a mini version of the Robby who all know and love that can quickly be set up to go and disarm and nearby traps. Be careful though! If an infected or insolence member were to come across it and mistaken it for a person, it could be destroyed!
Trivia
Daniel, old name, Detective_(Username), is stage name from The LPD used when going undercover.
This name comes from him being anonymous while working as a detective.
In Everlasting Continent canon, Daniel never dies or joins the insolence, making The True Ending Of Book 1 and The Hidden Ending Of Book 2 the canon endings in Everlasting Continent.
Daniel's favorite tool has always been pistol and tasers simply because he likes successfully hitting things when shooting.
It is unknown where Daniel lived before the infection.
He had an apartment in Robloxia before becoming a detective and moving to Evalia, but that's all that's known.
Daniel's favorite food and drink are ramen and boba tea.
Daniel has never played the Pig 64 game, unlike Charlie.
Daniel almost never drinks coffee unlike other LPD officers unless it's with specific meals.
This is because he doesn't find coffee as good as some other drinks when it comes to drinking while eating.
Daniel gets tired very easily, and doesn't mind taking breaks to nap from time to time.
????? has never met Daniel, as they are still in Lucella while Daniel is in Doveport going after the cure, but if they met, they would get along extremely well, and would help each other survive the infection.
Daniel's favorite holiday is Christmas, or as it's called in Evalia, Pigmas.
In Everlasting Continent lore, Christmas was the main holiday celebrated in Robloxia and throughout the world, while Pigmas is holiday celebrated alongside Christmas with slighty different cultures (think holidays like Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, etc.)
