Dark Deception Demake Version 1.1, "It's actually a game now!" update is now live! As the name of the update suggests, quite a lot of new stuff was added to this project and it's definitely an update worth checking out!
List of the full changelog below:


Dark Deception Demake Version 1.1 Official Changelog:

Added: A new lobby section with two elevator cutscenes and an escape sequence

Added: A new pause screen that doesn’t look like dog shit and actually functions well

Added: A new options menu that doesn’t look and control like garbage

Added: A new “Skip Cutscenes” setting in the options menu.

Added: A new “Game Volume” setting.

Added: New text that appears when you get a stun orb, bonus shard, or the last shard.

Added: Secrets with sound effects and visual effects when getting them.

Added: new jumpscare animations for both normal and frenzy forms.

Added: A Game Over screen that also doesn’t look like garbage.

Added: New Shard Streak milestones.

Added: The player can now get an extra life if they manage to get a 200 Shard Streak.

Added: A 3 lives remaining screen

Added: A brand new ranking system with time, bonus shards collected, secrets gathered, lives lost, best shard streak gotten, and a Final Ranking affected by the last 5, with ranks D, C, B, A, and S being awarded to the player depending on how well they did on the level.

Changed: The Murder Monkeys’ walking animation now looks much smoother.

Changed: The Murder Monkeys' respawn points when they overlap.

Nerfed: The murder monkeys were made slightly slower.

Fixed: Multiple game-breaking bugs if the player experiences slowdown or lag spikes.

And finally, general bug fixes were made.

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.

I mostly build 3D First Person Shooter game mechanics in Unity, and in this I'm just showing C4 mechanics I made for a little side project I am working on! :)
