Day 2 Patch Notes


NOTICE: The patch is still downloading, sit tight guys ;)

Hey everyone! Sorry for the buggy mess the game has evolved into with yesterday’s patches, but HOPEFULLY they’re all dealt with here :)

Changelog for Version 1.2

  • Fixed Karen, she used to not activate but now she does! Watch out for the static in your cameras, especially on the right hallway cam!

  • Fixed Sandy, I recoded her entire AI so that it actually works as intended now. Nothing to worry about :) I also made the generator restore it’s health when she is kicked out, so it’s more of a countdown than actual health.

  • Fixed an issue where the camera overlay would be displayed in the office or the menu.

  • Improved the Camera overlay.

  • Improved the placement of the door lights.

  • Added a cursor for the Oculus Rift. Funny story, I didn’t know the game nativley supported VR until Poiised did a video with it, aparently the cursor was the only thing that didn’t work so now the game has full Oculus Rift support!

  • Added a cutscene to the end of 7/20 mode.

  • Added texture resolution option to the settings menu. If you are experiencing crashes this may help!

  • Updated to Unreal Engine v4.7.6, Idk if this will do anything but it might fix some of the crash bugs :P

Again I may have forgotten something but that’s the gist of it. If experiencing issues make sure you are on version 1.2.0 (It says it on the title screen) before asking about it, It’ll help me make sure I’m not trying to spend time solving issues that I already fixed :P Anyways, have fun guys and good luck with 7/20 mode!

I made a thread on Twitter summarizing the current status of the CH1 https://x.com/syncaroonie/status/1711175267786580045?s=20 TL;DR the game is taking a while because it's bigger than Chapter 3, I've moved to Unity's HDRP and I haven't had much time to work on it :P

Hey all, the second patch (v1.2.5) for Five Nights at the Krusty Krab: Chapter 3 was just posted. It includes a few minor changes and bugfixes to Plankton, but the highlight is that he now has some fantastic new voice lines courtesy of not_ryan.jpeg!

Going to start on the Dev Commentary for Chapter 3 tomorrow and wanted to include a Q&A session at the end. Looking for questions about Chapter 3 specifically, so no questions about other past or potential future projects please :) Ask away!
