Hey folks, long time no see, welcome to the February Devlog for Dayshift with Salmo, I am excited to show you the progress being made, without further ado let's get to it
1 - Demo Update Progress
I have been working towards getting the demo main progression done, without drifting away to do the side activities of the game, so all the progress is as follows for the demo:
2 Days Progression: 100%
2 Nights Progression: 0%
Side activities: 50%
Arcade games: 40%
Music composition: 5%
Now a couple things I'll have to explain
2 Nights Progression will start to be worked on after this Devlog is out, for arcade games I have to go through and do iterations and bug fixes, side activities are mostly good but some are missing, music composition progress isn't much because I'd like to make my own music and self learn with experimenting
Hopefully the next Devlog after this will contain more news about the night shift.
2 - Dayshift with Salmo Main Menu gets fresh coat of paint!
You heard it right, the menu gets a fresh coat of paint with a slight overhaul to background element inspired by Dayshift at Freddy's 3 background, with custom backgrounds colors included as an option, And thanks to @PrimaDrawz for the Salmo artwork, the menu looks new and awesomer!

Frankly, I was considering not showing this until I release the demo, but knowing I would take long for this to happen, thought it would be better to do it early on
3 - Music Composition
I have began to make music for the game, and since I'm a beginner I might just limit instruments because I go for way too long to find an appropriate one to fit the mood, that won't stop me from trying to do what I just mentioned though, but I have something I'd like to show you that being the first soundtrack that I composed for Dayshift with Salmo, enjoy!
So, how'd you like it, I am up for receiving feedback, and since I am making soundtracks that means I don't have to rely on searching for random music on YouTube or using Kevin Macleod music, sorry Kevin, I still like your music though
I'm generally excited to experiment more and try to deliver more soundtracks that will hopefully be good
4 - Discord Rich Presence Integration
Thanks to the NekoPresence for Discord Rich Presence, Dayshift with Salmo gets DRP Integrated in, by the time you're seeing this it is not fully finished, so I have to do more side work for it to update accurately

Extra - Other stuff
YouTube related: So the reason I'm not uploading much for my main channel video uploads is because when I have something, it sometimes isn't as exciting to post it and show, which is why there is a lack of uploading for the past months, but I will 100% show what I am cooking up when I do night shifts
First estimated release date failed: I once said that there are 2 estimated release dates for the demo on the about section of the game, however, I've been slacking on working on this and with how much I have much left to get done, I will say that I won't be able to get the demo out before the first estimated release date which I won't meet, that being March 2nd
Roadmap idea: I have been thinking lately that I want to keep you folks updated on how the development is going so that you have a better understanding of how much is needed before demo/full game release, so I've been thinking of doing a roadmap, don't worry though, I will remove the most spoiler light/heavy goals out of the roadmap, I will try to get around for it if I can bother to do so
Lore related: You might or might not have already known that the game will go according to Dayshift at Freddy's trilogy lore with a couple twists being thrown in there, one of them being the events of Dayshift with Salmo happening after Dayshift at Freddy's 3, since FNaF lore is generally confusing to understand at times
Conclusion
