shout out to @IsJustLeo for making this masterpeice btw it was just a tech demo so some things i might try debunking may or may not be wrong ,anyways

this story starts with light thoughts owned by a mysterious little guy who's first name is unknown however his last name is elswood we're gonna call him mr elswood for now
now mr elswood runs no normal video game company nor is he a normal dude he traps souls labeling them as projects in his games one of these games being mr pompy's extravagant quiz an educational quiz game
next part i have to this story is his life he lives no good life in fact he is WORSE then john munkford from 98xx he abuses his daughter sarah elswood age 10 female and he put her in mr pompy's extravagant quiz thats my guess to how this story goes

now throughout this game you will see the main character mr pompy try saving sarah multiple times infact when you try looking at "SAVES" the game won't let you pick the empty slot it only lets you pick the slot with SARAH indicating yes this sarah individual has played this game and has completed 2 of the mini games.

now we know sarah is in this game for sure there is a cutscene in this game showing a girl being transferred to a computer the only girl we know around here being sarah ofc.

Now as for who these other characters are my guess is i have 3 guesses

1 like in kinitopet here there are self aware AI's knowing what's happening and wanting to stop mr elswood

or 2 like 98xx these people are family members however here they are trying to save them my guess to whom pompom is i think is the mom or it could be sarah's sister we don't know much about sarah yet
pompy could be like the grandfather or smth

3 my FINAL theory is like amanda the adventurer where there are souls or vessals put in to make sure sarah can't escape however the guy behind mr pompy think's differently and wants to save her

honestly i feel like it could be the 2nd or 3rd one as i don't think an AI could be trying to save a child i honestly believe my 2nd or 3rd theory more
cause in this game with all the text related to pompy that says "Your Friends" and "Your Safe Here" and stuff honestly it COULD very much be a family member or someone trying to save her

honestly the reason i believe this might be AI's is cause at the end if you say to pompy that you don't trust him
he'll say something like "well would you like to do more trivia with me" or smth? OR he'll also say in either options "i welcome you to my extravagant quiz" so thats my theory on that

honestly great experience tbh even though it is a bit confusing
