December - Week 4: First update!


Four things I would like to start with;

  1. I am the sole developer of 2538 currently, there may be others chipping in but right now, it’s a 1 man team.

  2. Merry Christmas!

  3. This game will have highly irregular updates and may (read probably) change rather a lot over it’s lifetime.

  4. The old post had borked formatting so…

So, for the past however long it’s been I have added about zilch to the game.

What I did do what change the game from being made with Gamemaker:Studio to LÖVE2D. This was because of point 1 above and because the free version of studio I had expired. So, without further ado, here are some images.

2d lighting experiment

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
