Hey y'all, it's been a while since the first part of the game released, and I've neglected to give updates of the goings on of the game on here, so I'm gonna do that.

This devlog might not have much in terms of new content if you've been keeping up with my Twitter or the previews on the Discord server, but oh well.

To preface, there will be spoilers in this devlog, so if you want to have a clean slate of what's to come (other than the fact that section 2 involves Earthbound because that was already shown in-game), then click out NOW.

Okay, let's begin.

So I started creating section 2 at the beginning of December, and in that time, I've completed around 6 rooms and started on one recently, as well as all of the enemies for all the completed rooms.

The biggest room of the bunch is Peaceful Rest Valley. As shown in a teaser of the section's first cutscene, this section takes place in the Twoson part of the game, particularly the one that deals with Happy Happism.

Anyways, if I had to guess how complete the entire section is, it would probably be around 40% at the time of writing this. It's worth noting that I'm not making this section alone. There's a sick-ass werewolf doing the outdoor tiling for the section, and of course I don't know how to create music, so I asked a few people to help with a few tracks. There are also a few other people that help test the game and give input.

It's worth saying right now that section 2 and 3 will release together, as I feel that section 2 won't be long enough to release on its own. The only reason section 1 released on its own is because it could technically be considered a demo. Section 3 might be a lot easier to create, and if you don't want spoilers on why that is, I won't say here. I will say though that it won't require a ton of assets to create first, unlike section 2.
