Wow.. These last few months have been crazy for us. We’ve been hard at work, and it’s about to start paying off. We are hoping by May, to have a Demo released. This Demo won’t have much of an objective, but you will be able to get used to some of the mechanics. Speaking of, Let us talk about the mechanics of the game..
We definately went back through some of the biggest horror games (Except for RESIDENT EVII - There’s seven of them, do we need more? Just think about it), and found that OutLast, and Layers Of Fear are some of the best horror games that are out there. Layers Of Fear had some really cool mechanics. One of the coolest was that you could pick items up and look at them from all angles. OutLast’s biggest mechanic was the camera. It also had animated jump scares. We decided to get the best of both worlds and more! The Firey Storm will have a camera ( Be careful, your camera can and will break. HANDLE WITH CARE!), a Peek system which will enable the player to peek around the corner, the player will be able to pick up objects, and much much more! So make sure to stay tuned for updates! We have a new promotional video coming out soon. It will be posted on youtube, and here on Gamejolt.
Have a great weekend!
