Demo Release Imminent!

Heya! Sorry for the long wait, but as I write this, I’m putting the finishing touches and tests on the demo release build of ExoSpace! It was a long time coming, trust me.

Please keep in mind the following:

  • It only encompasses Chapter 1, the Terminus (your ship), and Tellus Outpost (a mining outpost on an asteroid cluster).

  • Alamo Station, the hub world, is revisitable.

  • Two optional bosses are hidden in the demo, along with two side bounties you can pursue, and countless easter eggs.

  • The game has been trimmed down CONSIDERABLY to accommodate for the demo. I have way more done than just this, promise!

  • Estimated playtime should be 45 minutes for the story, but 1 hour and 30 minutes if all the side content is explored.

The demo, if all goes to plan, should be released tomorrow on August 4th. May the stars guide your way, exoborn!

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Made my first ever animation.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
