Salutations, Fallers! We recently passed our very first Falliversary, marking one year since the Gravity Falls TV series concluded. But just because the TV show is over doesn’t mean there isn’t more Gravity Falls on the horizon in 2017, including the special edition Journal #3, Don’t Color This Book! A Cursed Coloring Book, Funko Pop! figures and of course, fan projects like PinesQuest 2D! The latest build of which includes…

Version 0.3.1 Changelog:

• The flashback scene between the “Weak Voice” and the “Ethereal Voice” now happens after completing dungeon 2 but before entering dungeon 3.

• Easier instructions for running on a Mac.

• Minor bug fixes.

• Minor text fixes.

Unless more significant bugs are found in the first three levels of the game, this will probably be the last patch/update to demo before the full version is released. Rest assured however I will still be posting updates with progress on the full game as often as I can!

Speaking of which, with how things are currently going the full game should be around 50% complete sometime between February 28th and March 17th. Here’s the current status of the game’s eight remaining dungeons beyond the demo:

• Dungeon 4: Complete and fully playable.

• Dungeon 5: All assets complete, maps and programming in progress.

• Dungeon 6: All assets complete, maps and programming in progress.

• Dungeon 7: Assets partially complete

• Dungeon 8: Assets in progress.

• Dungeon 9: Assets partially complete.

• Dungeon 10: Assets in progress.

• Dungeon 11: Assets in progress.

Once Dungeons 5 and 6 are complete and fully playable, the first half of the game will be finished! Dungeons 7 through 11 plus all miscellaneous features (optional bosses, etc) constitute the second half. Things are going to be really breakneck these next couple of months but I think with enough grit and moxie we’ll be able to make it in time for 6/18!
