Derek as you know have abusive parents and brother and this happened after derek entered middle school

Getting forced to have blue hair and forced him to clean house etc, his brother always treat him trash and bully him at school with his friends

The voices is a soul who's been punished to be someone's head and derek was chosen when he was young and couldn't make him hear her, and each derek get abused the more she get closer to make him notice her voice, and she fully managed to make him hear her on the age he's in

The device on his neck is what derek called "neck cut device" he made it so if he failed to escape he may use this as backup plan, not wanting to continue suffering

You may notice some of blue color on his hair, this is because the red hair is actually his own blood, as he's broke and can't use any dyes

The long wooden stick with vary sharp tooth is also hand made by derek, for self defence

Add the voices to show that derek's mind is almost stressed out completely from the abuse

Recolored the clothes because as you know derek hates blue

Changed the name "miles away" to "derek" i just found the name stupid

Changed reason of accident lacey save, it was out of anger, and forget that the parents called the fat man and just made derek doesn't know him at all, just killed him out of anger
