Now onto the Devlog
Since the last devlog a few things have changed, There are also alot more levels now as we come closer to a demo release also I’ve started thinking about the pricing of the game as I would like this to be my second commercial game I’m thinking not more than $10 but I’m not fully decided on what the actual price will be
The game now has a timer which records how long you take to complete a level doing so will allow you to compete with people to get the best times on these levels as it will save the score and allow you to view it from the World Hub
Secondly I’ve changed the portals a little by giving them a neat effect to help you quickly figure out where you have been teleported too as suggested by one of my testers :)
Now onto when a demo will be released.
I am planning to have roughly 15 - 20 levels complete before I feel like the game is ready to be released publicly, there is also a lot I want to add aesthetically to make the game prettier and give it basically its own soul the mechanics need to feel like they aren’t just there for the sake of it and actually feel right. Once the game is in a state like this I will release a demo publicly.
I know I haven’t shown as much as I did last time and I really wish I could show you guys more but there is still more polish I would like to do before showing off other things, And I also don’t plan on showing off all the levels I have prepared I’ll be keeping most of them a surprise :)
