Dev Update #2

Time for another update with how we are doing. We have now started production and I will continue to update you guys trough the weeks ahead, somethings we will share and some we dontt, cant spoil all the fun right? But I can at least guarantee that we are on track for a powerfull vertical slice.

Programming: The programmer is now doing Water Test - Perlin Noise / Heightmap checking and comparing to our references.

Modeling: I have spent most of the week gathering reference pictures for assets so I can fill the ship when its ready, this is a very hard job but luckily there are alot of books out there. First out was one of the spyglasses, a Dollond from mid 17th century. Did some materials testing on that one as well and will finish that asset tomorrow, before I start the next one. Also blocked out some books and material testing on a candle holder.

So here's the first of the zodiac signs i will make for the next weeks.

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

Strange Umbrella

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

Call it 'wrong turn'!🚫 The feeling of running into a house with only one exit🚪, and being doomed to die. #pixelart #pixelartist #pixelartwork #art #pixel #indiegame #IndieGameDev #indieartist

"Day to Day" (also check spud out here he's a great guy and writer: https://soundcloud.com/spudward)

Regional Bulbasaur. #Pokemon

not the greatest house, but it's a house! :D

We're knee deep in multiple large features and "game feel". Quick peek behind the scenes in this weeks Dev Blog: https://bit.ly/2QmmaQM

Out of boredom and curiosity, I coded Sailor Jupiter's Argentine Backbreaker.
