Heyo! This Dev Update will focus on a couple things, so let's get them outta the way, shall we?
First off, and this is the biggest announcement I have to make yet: The main story for SuperRhys217's Rushed Adventure 2 is now complete! Essentially, this means that the game can now be played from beginning to end and beaten with few issues. As voted on my YouTube channel however, the game won't be released until the extra content is complete. This includes the quest system, difficulty modes, and secret stuff (ooh). It sounds like quite a bit, but aside from the quests, it won't take too long to develop. Speaking of...
SRA2 contains a special quest system, based off of the Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam missions. They're accessed through the Koopa Quest Center, which the player can enter towards the beginning of the game.

This is the Quest Menu, where the player can play through the quests. There are 21 quests being planned for, and they unlock as you progress through the game. Completing them nets you various rewards, from basic items to powerful equipment. Even if you've already obtained the reward for the quest, you can replay them as many times as you like.
All of the quests have varying objectives, but I think it's best if I kept most of them a secret until the game comes out.

Next up, difficulty settings! Upon starting a new game, you can choose between three difficulty options. Standard Mode is the default mode, obviously. Conservative Mode is the same, only it gives the party various buffs that make the game easier. Proud Mode, meanwhile, is a harder experience for those who find the base game too easy, or if they're just looking for a challenge. Enemies will be slightly tougher with increased stats, and certain enemies will learn new moves. I hope you give it a try!
Lastly, the game will also include support for Game Jolt trophies! This was a feature that my oldest games had, but was missing in Rushed Adventure 1 as it wasn't initially released on Game Jolt. Essentially, you just log into your Game Jolt account within the game itself, and then bam, you can now earn trophies. It's not necessary for completion at all, but it does give you more of a reason to see everything the game has to offer.
Aaand that's it for now! I know I promised this game would come out several months ago now, but I've gotten distracted a lot with other things so the game has taken longer than I would've anticipated. But at this point, the finish line is now within reach! I'll be updating the page with a few new screenshots too, so stay tuned!
