So I just finished Night 5 :) Not sure about balancing and stuff yet, I still have lots of testing to do.
This does not mean the game is finished, however. When I make something (a game, a song, whatever it might be), I like to think that the project has 3 stages.
The main development, where you make the main stuff so it is playable and all
Go over details, balance the game more, add easter eggs, etc., until you feel the game is completely finished
THEN go over it more, after the game feels done, and add inn small stuff, do small tweaks, add small details, to TRULY make the game feel complete.
This means I’m now done with Stage 1 (which also is the most important part). I want this game to have some sort of replay value for sure. In Origins (my 4th FNAW game), I had a Custom Night so you could toggle features and difficulties to your liking. I might try to add that here, too. But I want to add more than that, something that gives the players more to do. I will probably make some kind of harder night, but for some reason, I don’t want to make a Night 6. I kinda want this to be FIVE Nights at Wario’s. In my second game, I even had 7 whole nights, which I almost feel was too much. I could rather have made a Hard Mode or something, to make the game live up to its name. Or call it “Bonus Night” or something. So that’s what I might do with this game. Who knows, maybe I’ll try to implement an Easter Egg quest like I did in FNAW3, too :) We’ll see. It’s fun to make the details and the Easter Eggs, so I look forward to that. Stay tuned, and thank you all for the support :) Hopefully this game becomes something playable, at least.
Also, I might be a coward, but Waluigi has managed to make me jump 3 times in a row on the same channel now. I take that as a good sign :)
