Team CHKN is growing! We have three new people on our team now, all working on different projects. Let’s see what everyone is up to.
Ashley has joined Kevin in the art department and is drawing up concepts for some new creatures. So far she has made llamas and sheep!
Greg is our newest engineer and he is helping John and Roman with some development. He is also working improving load times and general game speed.
On the analytics side, we have Saarim who is our newest intern. He is analyzing the analytics but on the external side of the game, like how you answer our Beta Tester questionnaire and how often you are playing CHKN!
Phil is working on making another one of those awesome tutorials explaining the new features that will be available for Early Access. WHAT? You missed the first three?? Well, you better click on this link and go watch them!
Kevin is working on destruction animations for structures. He’s been doing a lot of research to see how different materials break and he started implementing that into the animations in CHKN. Here is a gif to show what he came up with!
John is starting to work on multiplayer this week! Let’s all say another prayer for him. Roman is finishing up the new tutorials. Since we added so much content, so many new items, and many new concepts, we had to redo the tutorial so you guys could learn the new Adventure Mode quickly and easily. We will be releasing the new beta tester build with this tutorial onboarding this week, so we are anxious to hear what you think!
Kate is prepping everything for the Early Access release and continuing to keep you guys happy and show you guys all this content we are cranking out!
