I don't imagine many would see this, but I'm stuck between two different directions to go with the game.
1) A visual novel detective game where you play as a detective investigating the death of an employee/customer and a random animatronic can be picked as the murderer, sorta like an endless roguelike (picking the wrong animatronic would result in your death and the end of the run, which then would lead you to a stats screen)
2) 6 scripted campaigns where you play as the animatronics and try to figure out who killed the titular character, Freddy (or Fredbear/Circus Baby/whatever.) Little replayability, though much more like the original direction of the game.
Both would keep the 6 difficulties, but the visual novel would likely swap some around (FNaF 2, with its massive cast, would not be easy mode.) Generally I'm leaning more towards the visual novel game but I'd like to see people's opinions first, especially as it's deviating heavily from the original concept.
Edit: Thinking about it, I could probably also sneak a campaign / "story mode" into option one!
