[DEVELOPMENT]

∙ Development of Shootingz has resumed, more updates to come soon!

[GAMEPLAY]

∙ Nerfed Basic Enemy.

∙ Temporarily removed Enemy Turret.

[GRAPHICS]

∙ Changed Menu and Game backgrounds.

This update is a gameplay-focused update, as this part of the game needed a much needed revamp. The game seemed too hard for beginners and players of all sorts. The Enemy Turret was removed to make balance changes to it. As I couldn't remove two enemies at the same time, I decided to remove the turret first, and just update the Basic Enemy. Also, the backgrounds have changed due to being very hard to see the enemies.

The last part of this DevBlog is the future updates. The first improvement in the future is going to be the settings page, allowing people to change controls, graphics and more. This is probably the biggest challenge that I'm going to deal with. As I'm still (kind of) a beginner in Gamemaker, this is going to be very hard to code, and will probably take the most time out of the future improvements to the game. Thank you for reading, and have fun with the game!

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

I worked so hard to get all four of them to the end safely, but then...

Levels' maps.
