Developer Update #1

Well, this is the first Official update for this game’s Game Jolt page.

As not much has been established for this game already there’s not much to go off of in terms of progress made.

This game is still very much early in it’s development and as such many core game mechanics are still being implemented. But I’m not one to just work on one thing then move onto the next. I like to keep myself working on a variety of things at once from Modelling to Coding to Level Design to just basic Polishing of small parts of the game. With that all being said here are a few peaks at the latest assets worked on for the game.

A base for an area of the game has been modeled and implemented into the game engine along with new low poly grass I have modeled to provide a dense effect without being TOO demanding.

A new character for the game has been modeled, textured, rigged and implemented into the game engine. Something I would like to implement later in development is animated facial textures for characters to cover blinking, talking and whatever else I might need their face to be altered for.

And outside of that there are various things I am currently working on such as a jump and glide feature that is almost working but needs to be able to detect the ground to stop the glide and go back into a walk cycle.

I hope you appreciate this look into a few elements of the game that have been worked on and I hope to make more updates like this showcasing more in the future.
Thank you for reading :)

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Strange Umbrella

An infected room from the second part of Cybel ! Are you up for some cleansing?

If you have more of an acquired taste, the restaurants in Niravasi have you covered! Maybe skip the salad bar, though.

I mostly build 3D First Person Shooter game mechanics in Unity, and in this I'm just showing C4 mechanics I made for a little side project I am working on! :)
