Hey all! I’ve decided to keep a small development blog! I believe the news article section should include mostly (if not only) new information or quick updates about the game or it’s progress. This blog will elaborate on old subjects and the progress of specific areas of the game as well as touch on other games/ideas I may be working on.
I have also decided I am going to use the blog to manage those who have agreed to help/beta test so I can keep track of them but also so you all know who is working/helping out on this awesome game. I figured it would be less intrusive than displaying it on the main page and easier than updating/making new news articles. So, all the enitial beta testers/helpers names will be here!
So! To the development! This is a super quick one but wanted to let everyone know that Strange Times demo one is on schedule to release next week! All the major bugs that were bothering me have been squashed and all that is really left is placing some trainers and then cleaning things up. I will be removing all unused resources/scripts/maps from the game to make the files as small as possible. For those of you who are excited to use/try out the launcher please be warned that it is still in super early development and may not work for you. If this is the case just download the installer and use that. If you are worried about it not working and/or have slow internet or a low power machine I suggest you use the installer for the time being.
Lastly, I have started story boarding two new projects! One is a crime/mystery point and click game like the old 1990’s Sherlock Holmes games and the other is either going to be another RPG or potentially a visual novel based on a screenplay I have written. But, the main focus is Strange Times.
