Captain’s Log

1:36 HTML5 window/view in browser setup created using mHTML5. Moving player created. Moving and bouncing bubble created.

1:42 Fixed weird bug with collisions that cause bubbles to get increasingly higher.

1:51 Some more game planning

1:56 Made laser beam, Bubbles split when hit by laser beam.

2:06 Fixed some view issues. Polished game play.

2:24 Created graphics for game. Includes new player sprites, new bubbles, UI layout.

2:34 Imported graphics into existing game project.

2:41 Got background tile fitting together and moving as well.

2:56 Created INIT object, globals etc. Created HUD

3:07 Edited bubble sprite. Changed collision system.

3:19 Graphical enhancements. Lives, restarting the room. Bubble collisions

3:23 5 minute break (clash of clans)

3:35 Design menu and about page. Created menu graphics. Added shadows to graphics.

3:39 Created menu room and controller object. Off to investigate the best way to make buttons in HTML5. Imported all new graphics in.

3:41 Couldn’t find anything. I’m going to import the button system I made in Hedges. I’m also importing TweenGMS

3:51 Implemented basic menu.

4:06 Made Back to main button. Menu fully functional.

4:24 Few bugs sorted out. Can now test on Win instead of HTML5. Menu is now awesome and shiny. Multiple stages. Very happy with progress so far. Considering bed.

4:33 Re structured bubble objects. Now four different bubble objects for different sizes. It’s just easier!

4:40 Game structure complete. Levels progress, game over stage, end game stage send you back to main.

5:15: I’ve decided to add gravity shift into the game. Will make it much more interesting. Currently working on tweening it.
