Development Log #9


Hello!

It’s that time again - To go over the recent changes of the unreleased patch.

So far, the game has seen some improvements regarding hit registration and how it’s been reportedly felt sluggish.

Other changes include:

  • New weapon: Crowbar.
    Slightly more powerful than _fists and faster movement speed than _sword.

    • Added details to map City

    • Death animations are now a thing. They look like this.

    • Removed smoothing on health bars. Why? Because it messed with the hit registration. As of right now I’m not quite sure why, either.

    • Added sounds! This is a nice thing that honestly makes the game more enjoyable.

    • You can no longer move when you’ve won, except for jumping.

    • Added minor details here and there.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!
