Development Update #2

Hello!

I’m making this devlog to give you some more information about the upcoming update and how the development is going.

The progress is going rather slowly, although quite well. The basic playable map concepts and planning for both new stories is fully complete. The plot is nearly finished, while the gameplay is currently being planned out.

The game will be changed so much to the point where It’ll receive a new title and most likely a new page. The upcoming stories will bear only a slight resemblance to the current game, and will have a much better & more enjoyable gameplay with more varying mechanics.

The current Story in the game, which I will simply refer to as Miles Ahead from now on will receive a number of improvements, changes and some new content. There’s another way of escaping planned, which will differ greatly from the current.

I can’t say how often I will provide these updates, as I don’t want to spoil too much of the game. However, do expect some new teasers every once in a while.

Thanks,
~Rarithlynx

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
