So it's almost been a year and I haven't work on the game... at all. It's pretty much just been a lack of motivation and a busy life. I apologize.
Some good news though. I'm working on the game again!
I'm currently working on the battle system, and while I haven't really done much, what I have done hopefully shows some promise in the future.
Party Members now have a "Speed Bar" to show the player how long it'll take until that character is able to attack
Each Party Member now have stats (HP, Attack, and Speed) that will increase by randomized values of a certain range with each level
Each type of enemy in an area can now appear in a single battle.
Each enemy that is spawned now has a health bar with the name and image of the enemy it's assigned to.
Each enemy has it's own EXP and TOKEN value that get added up as a total for your reward for winning the battle.
I'm going to start programming attacks for the first four party members and the first three types of enemies to see if I can get a proper battle system going.
Again, I apologize for not really working on the game and being silent about it. I'll be working on it more now and I hope to keep you all updated as it progresses.
