Hey everyone, BasicallyBackstage here again!

Wanted to apologise for the lack of proper updates recently, I've just gone back to school and have to balance a few things. But let's get right into the post!

Demo Scrapped. Game is releasing in full release!

Now you may remember me rambling about the game receiving a two night demo with a few other features (which I hilariously had no idea what I was doing lol) on Discord or maybe here a few times. But I decided to make a big decision for the best of it.

Backrooms: Escape From Reality is going to release in its full version!

I've decided to do this due to multiple factors:

• The game wouldn't be as exciting in the full release if there was a demo.

• Some features are expected to change.

• Players would be able to skip a quarter of the game in the full version.

• Many other reasons, which I don't want to flood this post with.

With that being said, the game is releasing in its full version with no more demos (which I took down a long time ago lol).

How have things been going with development?

I'm proud to announce that all the main mechanics have been fully planned out and are being implemented into the game! (OG Backrooms fans will feel nostalgic).

Aside from that, things have been going slowly, but are surely progressing. In conclusion, I'd say there's been some really good changes!

New Trailer News

As I mentioned before, there will be a new trailer releasing very soon! While I don't have an exact date, expect something to happen in a week or two.

For those who are confused, I deleted the old trailer which I posted around a year ago, due to being cringe and EXTREMELY OUTDATED THAT IT MADE ME QUESTION WHAT THE HELL WAS GOING ON- Ok enough of that.

But rest assured. This new trailer releasing in a week or two will give you a glimpse of the up to date and polished version of the game I've been slowly showing hints of!

Hope ya'll excited, because this will be a wild one :)

That's all I have to say for now, sorry I didn't include much in this post, I've been more careful with showing sneak peaks and not leaking things the second I make them XD.
