Development Update - Something scary this way comes

We are pleased to announce that the environments for the first chapter of Project Revival are fully designed and being implemented into the game-world right now! This is a huge step for us and more importantly, a huge step for the development process. We can crack on with implementing the actual physical world of the game, and to be honest, that is all we have left to do. We took it upon ourselves to complete the soundtrack and sound design for the game before we even had the environments laid out on paper, because, as we all know, horror is about the sound, but we’ll go into that some other day…

We’re hoping to have the game ready for testing sometime in the following weeks so keep your eyes peeled for that!

The game will also feature only one loading screen (at the start). The entire world will be laid out from thereafter and there will be no other loading whatsoever!

Sorry for the short update, but lets be honest here, if we aren’t posting here then we’re obviously busy working on the game.

The game’s real name will be announced next week too! What could it be? Why not have a guess in the comments below?

Got a question? Ask away!

:D

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

Rockin the Guitar, an Axe like Guitar I made for my Uni project

These are background sprites I've created for a game I'm working on at school ^w^ Click on the post to see how the sprites connect. You won't regret it! (personally, I think it's pretty heheh)
