Devlog #1: 7/8/22.

So deviant art has been pretty difficult to manage and no I wasn't banned from deviant but It isn't the same as it was on Gamejolt. So here I am back here again, I haven't gave out any update what so ever on the games progress and the truth is that things are bit on a halt.

Graphics/Modelling

This is not a problem as the map is basically done (except for the basements which probably won't be in development for a while.

Story

The story has had some changes and such, I plan the game to not be only just a regular fangame but something more than just a fangame. Which is why the game will have some cutscenes that I planned to be very otherworldly. Specifically there will be not dreamy but in the mix of nightmarish like worlds that play a big role for the series.

Programming/Coding

Night 1 is close to being finished, one of our coders came back and now the game is getting more progress on this, the menu also changed by a lot and is currently finished. The Settings menu will be worked on eventually but not now. as for it is near complete.

Since I have been gone for a while I want to give you a full render of a room that will be featured in the game.

I swore to myself I wouldn’t post anything to avoid spoiling the new gameplay… but here’s a small sneak peek, the most exciting feature yet: your character’s legs move when you turn

Sometimes the suction cup get sticky. Small animation I made in Blender after doing my tutorial on picking up/dropping objects in animations. Crate model by jQueary (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/game-ready-sci-fi-crate-d98deca6…).

Why walk when you can jump?

These are background sprites I've created for a game I'm working on at school ^w^ Click on the post to see how the sprites connect. You won't regret it! (personally, I think it's pretty heheh)
