Devlog 1

It begins

Alright, I was eager to upload this on the site just so I can get my project out there.

Currently, I'm in very early development, but progress is being made. I've finished the classes for the characters I want to add in at the stage I'm at.

How about I explain my plan of action? I'll be showing this thing with every devlog to show where I'm at.

Game Workflow

Mechanics

(Actors, Classes, Skills, basic items, enemies)

I'm here

Main Story

(Maps Stage 1, Main Quests, Dungeons, more items)

Optional content

(Side quests, stuff relating to them, etc...)

Asset Improvement

(Make the game look pretty, improve tilesets, Maps Stage 2, fancy title screen, etc...)

???

(This one is a surprise!)

Thanks for looking at my devlog, and I'll talk more about the project at a later date! Please let me know what you thought!

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?

What you all think

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Strange Umbrella

My D&D art for my family so far (WIP if you couldn't tell)

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa MarΓa Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

The Authority decided to investigate the Basement and leads to recovering classified documents Fun fact: The building has 928 doors and not 1000 doors. #horror
