Welcome to the first ever Intensity Devlog! In these posts, I'm going to be talking about the progress of Intensity's development and some sneak peeks. But first...
What Happened?
Yeah. So, 2 months ago, I put out a date for Intensity's demo release dare. And by now you can tell that I missed that date entirely. This is because of 2 major things:
Majority of the time spent was trying to find plugins to cater to my game.
Several scenes and graphics REALLY needed polishing and fixing. If I released the demo then, it would've been super buggy.
I'm glad I put time aside to fix these issues, but I'm also annoyed at the fact that I set out a date and now I have to delay it. From now on, I won't tell you when it will release until I'm 100% sure it is ready.
So What's Next?
As of right now, Intensity DEMO is 35% complete. From that 35%, if you decide to do all there is to offer, there's at least 25 minutes of gameplay! And we're not even DONE. All of the music for the demo is complete, bar the city theme (oops!), so I think we're making some decent progress!
Speaking of music, the track list has now been updated with another song to compensate for the lack of the demo :D! What are you waiting for? Go listen to the song RIGHT NOW!!!!! It sounds good right? What? It's not?
Anyways, I'm currently trying to polish the scenes which usually take the form of pictures. An example will be in the comments. As you can see, there are some major improvements going on! I can't wait to show you the full game! :D
What Is Intensity Even About?
Righht, about that. It's about time you got an explanation.
Intensity is a 2D RPG where you play as Chadd, who is tasked with collecting ethereal mechanisms called 'powerhouses' to save the world from its imminent destruction! This game is filled to the brim with action packed battles and interesting puzzles!
