Hey everyone,
I’ve been working on a fangame inspired by Undertale and Undertale Yellow, built around a “what if” scenario where things start to feel… off almost immediately.
The game begins in a familiar way—but small inconsistencies start appearing early on. Moments feel slightly out of place. Events don’t happen quite when they should.
And that’s where things begin to change.
I’m currently developing a demo that covers the early part of the game, but I have much bigger plans for where this project goes—and I can’t realistically do all of it alone.
So I’m looking for people who might be interested in helping out.
🎯 Roles I’m Looking For
🎨 Artists
Character sprites (overworld + battle)
Backgrounds / tilesets
UI elements
🎵 Musicians / Composers
Original soundtrack (inspired style, not direct copies)
Ambient / atmospheric tracks
Battle themes
💻 Programmers
Gameplay systems
Eventing / polish
(Engine experience is a bonus—mention if you have it!)
✍️ Writers (Optional)
Dialogue that feels natural and subtle
Keeping tone consistent with the game’s atmosphere
🧪 Playtesters
Bug finding
Feedback on pacing, tone, and gameplay
⚠️ Before You Ask to Join
This is a non-profit fangame
Everyone (including me) is a volunteer
This is a serious project, not something I plan to drop halfway
I’m aiming to make something polished and memorable—not rushed.
🌑 What This Project Is About
This isn’t a full rewrite—it’s a shift.
The focus is on:
Subtle changes
Things feeling slightly “wrong”
Letting the differences build over time
If you like storytelling that slowly drifts away from what you expect, you’ll probably enjoy being part of this.
📬 Interested?
If you want to help, comment below or message me with:
What role you want
Any work/examples (if you have them)
How active you think you can be
You don’t need to be super experienced—just committed and interested.
Thanks for reading. More updates soon... probably.
