Devlog 1: Prototype Complete

So the first Prototype of Steel Titans is complete

What’s in it?

Movement

As you can probably see, the turret smoothly follows the mouse, and the leg’s rotate into the direction of movement (simple stuff).

You can also probably see the how shooting damages the wall.

Destruction

Bullet’s break stuff (wow), concrete is less fragile than glass (wooow).
It’s actually suprisingly satisfying, and that’s what inspired me to make it a main mechanic.

Combat

Those, are tanks. Unprevoked, they stick to a simple patrol.

But if they spot the player…

The tanks turret will point towards the player, and the tank will follow. The tank fires at the player, and will even destroy walls to get to them.

However, they die in one hit… Oh well…

End

Thanks for following the development of Steel Titans.

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

Spaaaace~

These are background sprites I've created for a game I'm working on at school ^w^ Click on the post to see how the sprites connect. You won't regret it! (personally, I think it's pretty heheh)

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
