Brush Up on the Game
So yes, unless I change my mind, this game will be Custom Night focused. There will be a large assortment of Challenges to complete that will progress you through the game, or you can just mess around.
From and only from beating challenges will you get an unnamed in-game currency. Use the currency in the Shop to unlock things like decorations, modes and characters. Unlocking characters also unlocks more challenges, with the final challenge requiring all characters, so you may want to unlock them first (you won't run out of currency before you get all characters).
The game is made for fun and is not story based. There will be story to uncover, however, and it'll be shown through cutscenes after beating certain challenges.
Who's In The Game?
Now let's get onto the part where I show you guys stuff! Yaaaaaaaaaay!
You may be wondering what characters from the Chikn Nuggit series make an appearance in this game. Keep in mind that there are some from the Shop that I won't show you juuuuusssst yet.
However, let's take a look at the characters that are all available from the start:
There's that! When the full game comes out, you'll be able to unlock the rest of the yet-to-be-revealed cast from the Shop.
Camera Rooms
Not all of the rooms in the building have been made yet. However, I'll show off a few that have been done to you guys! They'll be a mix of unique rooms with references to the show, as well as rooms directly from the show.
I am very proud of how the art of the game is coming out, not to toot my own horn but I think it's some of the best I've ever done. (you gotta toot your own horn sometimes though, come on)
Anyways, take a look at some of them:
Void (This camera is literally just the empty void most of the episodes take place in. It will be a random color at the start of the night)
Bedroom
Slushi's Room
Kitchen (EGG.)
Full Office View
One of the game page screenshots showed the office, but Iscream was covering it. So, here's a full look at it!
This is the office WITHOUT any of the Shop decorations. It isn't too decorated by default in order to leave room for those.
For the record, the office doesn't scroll, but the cameras do. Also, keep in mind that anything is subject to change, game is still early:
End of Devlog
Welp, that's all to this devlog. I am very happy with how this game is coming out so far, it's a nice change of pace to move onto making something like this. Hope you guys are excited! Until next Night at Nuggit's devlog.
Haven't tried putting tags on a devlog before. So uhhhh....
