Welcome back to Honeybear's! We are pleased with the reception of this remake, and we hope you all will enjoy the end product.
This first devlog has come as a 500 follower reward, so thank you all for reaching that milestone in such a short amount of time! This devlog is dedicated to highlighting the key differences in this remake from the original game but in more detail.
In this remake...
There is an expanded location, but it isn't massive now. We've added a couple of rooms to make exploration and escaping animatronics more interesting to do rather than just running in circles. With this new location, it'll be easier to escape more than one animatronic. ;)
The movement is much more satisfying to utilize and looking around for the next door is easier.
The UI has been improved.
The computer has more relevancy other than power and temperature.
The animatronic AI is smarter. They have been heavily improved and work much better in the new location.
There will be segmented nights. The original had a high score counter because I didn't want to give out the build without an incentive to keep playing it!
There is much more to talk about but that will be for later devlogs. For now, have this new Honeybear render:
