Devlog 10: General Visual Improvements

So then

Whats new?

Menu changes

So the main menus had a little visual tweak.

This mainlys acts as a mockup of what the final thing will looklike, plus to add a little visual flare to the ugly thing Iโ€™ve been looking at for a while.

Camera Movement

I finally did it. Sure, it was somthing I should have added way earlier on, but I was somewhat experimenting with certain views.

So yeah, the cameras now zoomed in, and it follows the player. Probably gonna make some changes to it, feels a bit clunky currently.

Bug fixes and tweaks

Fixed Rocket mussel flash
Re-intergrated auto weapon switching
Fixed Laser mussel flash

Whats with all the visual stuff?

So why am I focusing on visuals? Currently, Iโ€™m focusing on adding a lil bit of polish to the game, in itโ€™s current state, its not exactly the best looking thing.

However, after that is done, I only have 2/3 pieces of content I want to add, before I start making the levels, this will include a new destructible, a new enemy, and depending how I want to stucture development, the final (and only) boss.

So yeah, development is going smoothly, and iโ€™m still confident about, releasing in first quarter of 2019.

Thanks for reading and following the development of the game.

What you all think

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

I mostly build 3D First Person Shooter game mechanics in Unity, and in this I'm just showing C4 mechanics I made for a little side project I am working on! :)

OK, this starts to be too tricky puzzle already :D

Out of boredom and curiosity, I coded Sailor Jupiter's Argentine Backbreaker.
