Hey, Arson here!
Time for an extremely overdue update on what's happening with the game. I outlined what's happening on a Twitlonger in February, and honestly not much has changed since then on my end. I'll link that here.
There are two reasons that the game has taken as long as it has is:
A.) how busy I've been this year; a lot less free time and a lot more projects being worked on at once has put Full Power 2 in the backseat.
and
B.) I do not want to rush the sprite artist (Y0L0TH3M4N on Twitter) at all. He's been an amazing help creating the character and enemy sprites for the game and I've loved every single one he's made. Of course making as many sprites to the quality that he has takes longer than the rushjobs that were Full Power 1's sprites done by me. You can see a preview of these sprites on his twitter here.
As I said in the Twitlonger, most of the game's content is either already finished or fully planned out and just needs created. Once I have the time available to me, likely at the end of May, I'll work on implementing everything and creating the final things such as cutscenes, map layouts and the character dialogue.
I'm sorry I have little more to show at this stage, but more will be coming soon, and a lot of it. I just couldn't leave people in the dark any longer than I already have.
Until next time!

Here's a peaceful little forest scene for this #screenshotsaturday, from the beginning of the game.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
