Devlog #2: Backgrounds and foregrounds - More eyecandy on way!

In the feedback we’ve been getting, we’ve noticed something that you would like: The endless halls and corridors of the factory could use some extra layers of art. And we of course agree.

While I think our artists are pretty talented, they are also few and very busy, so we couldn’t get everything done by the release of the demo. A week from the release though, we already have lots of extra animations and props to make the rooms bit more lively.

We’ve been adding a lot of stuff on the foreground, like these classic hanging chains:

We’ve also touched up the backgrounds of the big factory hall room by adding another layer of backgrounds between the far-away machinery and the platforms. It looks pretty broken and torn and we love it:

On top of these, we have few extra effects and balance changes coming to the demo in a patch that should be released by the end of this week.

Cheers,
Teemu - Kamina Dimension team

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.
