Devlog #2

Hey everyone, I’m back with my second Devlog! In this update I’m going to list some of the changes I’ve made to the game as well as features I’ve added. Pretty much, the biggest change I’ve made is that I have removed random battles from the game. Enemys will be on the world screen until the player or they collide which will trigger a battle. Enemies will also have respawn times though this is in the works. Enemies on screen are represented by a universal shadow, so you don’t know what you’re fighting until you are actually fighting it. Still, I think this change is really important, as it allows the player to explore the maps freely without always being attacked at random, which can be annoying.

Also another major change, is the story line. I’ve been working on making it less confusing, so I rewrote the entire game intro.

Also, I’ve finished the map for the game world. I will post it with this devlog update.

Anyways, that’s all that’s important for this update.

Later.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
