Hello Games! In this devlog we will be covering some new mechanics we have been working.
Wind Chill
We manage to scramble up some equations for making the wind chill factor very similar to real life. The faster the wind blows and the colder the temperature is, the worse its going to get.

You will need to strategically place wind barriers and heaters to reduce the factors of windchill in your colony.
Climate Upgrade
The temperature is no longer random but following a steady decline with a few odd rise in temperature. The temperature and wind will constantly be random.
The game will also feature daily highs and lows. Making the temperature will drop and rise throughout the day.
In future updates, we will add a weather station were you can have a estimate of how cold the next few days is going to be. It will also help you to manage how much heat to output.
The next mechanics in the works will be Days/Time & Fuel / Electricity
Days/Time: You will have limited time to build and manage your colony each day, making prioritizing much more important
Electricity & Fuel: Build and manage your electricity grid, limit how much power each building and machine is using. Produce your own power and keep your batteries warn!
