Devlog 2 - Year One


...and ZERO updates!? What the heck!

Hello, everyone; it's been a while! I didn't really intend to have such a long period of radio silence, so allow me to explain why that came to be.

If we're being transparent, I can say that I absolutely released a page for this project too early (albeit not entirely by my own will.) I'd rather not speak about that though. After that, it would just come down to other projects having higher priority/interest from me, and an overall lack of consistent/healthy work ethic. Completely my fault; sorry about that.

Apologies for leaving you guys in the dark, I guess! With that out of the way, let me brief you guys on where the game stands.


Unfortunately, I'll have to say that we're pretty far from the end of the development tunnel. It's a fair bit challenging to make a game of such quality when, apart from close friends giving small inputs, I am the sole asset creator for mostly everything in the project. Group that with the struggle of life and other projects... and my work slows to a slug's pace.

It's either that, or I'm just slow in general. Maybe a mix of both!

It's not all bad news, though!

If you were to think I'd have been sitting and lazing around the whole time... you'd only be PARTIALLY correct. There's not a day I've gone without brainstorming and/or further polishing the game. Keep in mind that I haven't thought of how to make a game since like 2016. I've had to bring a lot of change to many aspects of the game to make something that people would actually enjoy. I'm sure that will pay off.

As you can see, the animatronics are getting a well needed upgrade! That goes for everything else too. Although I've only realized now that most of the public has seen almost nothing of the game... I would hope to change that soon! Further on that; some parts of the game with significant progress are unable to be shown at all. What fun would that be to ruin the surprise?


So, what now?

I guess that's it for an update. I've been heavily against the idea of posting a devlog without a significant amount of content, but at the same time, I had to post SOMETHING.

More frequent updates should occur, though. The Blue Moon fanbase has been starving for far too long...

That's it from me now, though. Keep an eye on the page though, as I'm sure to be updating things.
