Hello everyone! It's been a while since I've actually sat down and took the time to finally write down another Devlog relating to this project!
With that in mind, let me tell you why I've been so silent. With the amount of progress I've been getting on this project, and with the new concepts and ideas we’ve been cooking up, It is safe to say that the game is making really great progress! I must say that I am very proud of the direction that this game is going in right now. The main gameplay’s code is almost complete, and so begins the creation of all the other cool aspects of the game.
From that point onward we can safely say that the game would be finished and ready for beta testing, and then released! After a ton of feedback and consideration, I wasn't happy with the current artstyle of the game, when I compared the most recent assets to some of the oldest assets, and felt like it created too much of a clash. So, I gave everything a fresh new look!

So, I gave everything a fresh new look! Instead of using paint. net, the game will now be drawn with the use of Clip Studio Paint EX.

Most of the changes revolve around defining the lighting and tone of the new redrawn atmospheres. We also trimmed a lot of fat off of the game, including chunky code, unneeded and inappropriate easter eggs, and more!
The animations have also gotten a huge rework, watching the video above, You can see Harry Horsebacks new Jumpscare, which is voiced by @TargetSausage | TargetSausage

A Peek into the Future! - Since I talked about the game's script being almost complete, I've taken the time to make the finalized location for Cybermatics thanks to its new story.
Taking place in Miami now, Cybermatics is one of the most popular and famous institutions for science and technology. Harboring almost $1.5M and over 1,250 new employees a year, this facility has been a spotlight for future technology of America.
Note: With these drastic changes in quality and presentation, the Fangame Direct 1 Trailer remains, for the most part, completely retconned and does not represent the current/final version of the project.
Meet the Crew!
Izzy Watson
An experienced mechanic who has worked at Cybermatics for a few years now. Izzy is very well known at Cybermatics for her astounding skill and charisma. This talented girl is an expert at learning on the fly information, thus, making her the perfect candidate for the upcoming week's night guard position.
Nicholas Thompson
A new scientist, and Izzy’s best friend. He isn't well known in the company, but his intellect and integrity makes him a lovable person to be around. Nicholas is a hard and passionate worker, as he would do anything to make his mother proud.
Gabriel Bryant
The CEO of Cybermatics. His father, also known as Grayson Bryant, stepped down from running the family business and passed responsibility down to him to take care of the Business. Grayson believes that the best way for Gabriel to learn how to make it big in the world, is to put him straight into the action. Gabriel is a very busy man, often only residing in Facility B, where he monitors his employees and plans for further projects.
Gary Bryant
The drunken mess. Gary Bryant is the Investment Manager and Tax Manager of Cybermatics. The stress of his job often causes poor Gary to find solutions at the end of a beer bottle. Gary is also responsible for calling Izzy Watson during her shifts, and supplying her with useful information.
Eyecon
“Hello world!” - Eyecon
Eyecon is the main mascot of Cybermatics, and the first sentient robot to ever be made at Cybermatics. He is very curious and eager to meet everybody who works at the place, after all, it is always good to make a friend or two! Unfortunately, the employees see Eyecon more as a nuisance than anything. Don’t call him a moron now! His database includes information that would make even the most smartest people interested.
Adam Ferguson
The CEO & Founder of the Company named ████████ █████████ ███ ███████ ██ ███ █████████ ███████████ ███ ██ ██ █████ ██ ██████ ███ █████ █████ ███████ ██████████ ████ ███ ███████ █████ ██ ████████ ██████████ ██████ █████████ █████████ ████ ███ █████ ██ ██ ███████ ████ ████ ███ ███ █████ ███████ ██████ ███████ ██████ █████ - CLASS|F|ED.
So, what to look forward next?
Since I said that the script and the gameplay are close to being finished, The next few things to look forward to are post night gameplay, and other segments of the game that are yet to be revealed.
Perhaps you guys might get another trailer? Who knows! I apologize for the deep silence for these past months. Mainly, I've been trying to focus on my final year of High school, Family, and this project as well. I hope that this game is something that you all can enjoy, me and everyone at Sunstar have been working really hard to give you something that is AAA (triple A game) worthy.
