Greeting
Welcome back again to my nearly monthly devlogs! I hope all of you have been doing great as usual and are excited to hear more news about Dayshift at Popgoes.

Devlog
First of all, I'd like to apologize for missing out on Febuary's devlog and this one being written rather late. I originally wanted to mix the 2 months into a bigger devlog because I didn't have any progress done worth mentioning in Febuary.

Sadly, that didn't go quite as planned either as I've been diagnosed with certain mental health issues a while ago and had been focusing more on that than on the game. However, considering that I am back now, the development of Dayshift at Popgoes will continue as usual, of course.

Besides that, an annoying crow of Irish origin, who used to bear the name of a certain condiment, has been pestering me recently. The spineless creature, for whom I shall express my gratitude for motivating me to continue development of this game even further, is probably well aware that it is being meant in this section of my devlog.

The Demo

So, considering I've been away the last 2 months basically, I haven't gotten too much new content done for the game, however I have hired artists to make art for cutscenes and I composed some music for the game, too. Most of this will be revealed later near the release of the Demo V2 so stay tuned for that in my next devlogs.

That will be all, cya next month!

Chiaki Nanami!

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?

What you all think

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Horror WIP A track that will be featured in a future horror game soundtrack! Stay tuned!
