The demo is finally complete! It's listed as version 0.1.0, go download it! I mean, I really don't have much else to put on this devlog. I guess I might as well put the installation instructions. These are just copy pasted from the installation guide text file in the .zip folder from when you download it, so if you're about to get the mod then just skip this devlog and read the one in there. Or use this one, whichever you prefer. Anyway, here's how to install the Deltarune But Awesome Demo.

1. Extract everything in the .zip file

2. This is only compatible with the "chapter1.2.lts.text - 11-25-24" beta for Deltarune. To do this, go to the Steam page, click the gear icon, then Betas. Make sure the beta you are on is the one mentioned above.

2. Find the files for Deltarune. The easiest way to do this is by going to the Steam page for Deltarune, clicking the gear icon, then going to "Manage" and then "Browse Local Files". From there, go to "chapter1_windows", then "lang".

4. Overwrite the "lang_en" file with the one provided in the .zip folder, and you're good to go!

The entire game is accessible. However, the only part that's modded is Castle Town. Use the following steps if you would like to skip to the part where everything descends into madness.

1. Open the search bar on your PC and search for an app called "Run".

2. Type "%localappdata%" and click "OK". Then find the folder for Deltarune.

3. Take any of the save files in the .zip folder and put them in the directory for the save files. They're all identical, only differences being the file slot. filech1_0 is the top one, filech1_1 is the center one, and filech1_2 is the bottom one. Put whichever ones you want in the directory and you should be good to go!

Have a good Boi

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
