After 2 weeks of absence, I’ve finally got a new devlog for ya’ll.
There’s nothing much to explain this time, so enjoy I guess.
Health Indicator
First thing I added was an actual indicator for Hp instead of the number below the player character. It was sort of inspired by the Payday 2 indicator visually, but not mechanically.
Woah, it goes down when you get hurt. Cool beans.
New Enemies
As is probably obvious, having the same type tank as an enemy for the entire game would be a bit boring. So I’ve added 2 new types of tanks.
Rocket tank
The enemy, is the master of destruction, in its eyes, there is no such thing as collateral damage.
Though its high area of effect damage can be dangerous to the player, it can also be useful to manipulate in destruction mode.
Rapid Tank
Though mainly used for anti-infantry, rapid tanks have been deployed into the field. Though giving less damage, the rapid tank fast firing turret is much harder to avoid.
Power Ups
Of course, it’s not only enemies who get this new weaponry. The player can also pick up these powers for a short burst of destruction.
Rockets
Though having low ammo and a low rate of fire, the high damage and area of effect balances it out to make a great tool for destruction.
Rapid Fire
This ain’t ye Grandmas rapid fire
Though a doing slightly less damage than normal ammo, the ridiculous firing rate can take out a small building in a mater of seconds
Health pick-ups
Not much to say but, you pick it up, and ye get health back.
That’s pretty bueno.
Bug Fixes and Tweaks
Legs no longer default left.
Diagonal speed is no longer higher than horizontal and vertical.
Tank bodies always face in the right direction.
Object placement more precise on LE.
Normal tanks fire rate decreased.
Welp, that be all.
Thanks for reading.
